The New Mexico State Bar Foundation’s Legal Resources for the Elderly Program is Hosting a Free In-Person Legal Workshop for New Mexico Residents in Tucumcari on May 21
Tucumcari, N.M., April 4, 2024 — The New Mexico State Bar Foundation’s Legal Resources for the Elderly Program (LREP) will be hosting a free in-person legal workshop for New Mexico residents on May 21 in Tucumcari, New Mexico at the Tucumcari Senior Center.
Located at 523 South Third St., Tucumcari, N.M. 88401, the workshop will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (MT). The workshop, featuring a presentation by an LREP attorney, will cover Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, probate, estate planning, Transfer on Death Deeds and Medicaid and Long-Term Care. No advance registration is required for the workshop.
Facilitated in collaboration with the New Mexico Aging & Long Term Services Department, the in-person workshop will provide attendees the tools and resources they need to effectively prepare for the future and ensure that family and relatives are given the support they deserve.
