License Renewal Instructions

Renewal Instructions:

  1. Log into the Member Dashboard
  2. Click on the License Renewal button to start your renewal.
  3. From the renewal page, please review Box 1 and Box 2: Your Address Information & Your General Information; you can make changes as needed from this page.
  4. Next, click on each of the certifications, answer the questions and submit the certification.
  5. A new button will appear in Box 4, click on the Pay Online or Print Invoice button.

You may pay online using your credit card with a 3% convenience fee or ACH using your business or checking account information. If you choose to mail in your check, make the check payable to State Bar of New Mexico.

If your firm or agency will be paying for your fees with one check, you can print the invoice and give to your accounting manager. 

Be prepared:

To pay your license fees, you must first complete all the Mandatory Certifications. The required certifications are as follows:

Your license renewal is not complete until you have:

  • Completed license renewal form including certifications.
  • Paid licensing fees.
  • Completed 2023 MCLE compliance requirements (you can verify your MCLE compliance from your dashboard by clicking on MCLE Transcript, then choose the approprite compliance year). 

Licensing Certification Receipt

  • You can print a copy of the Licensing Certification from your member dashboard after the payment has been made.  The receipt contains the answers to the certifications and a receipt of the payment made.
    • Click on Licensing Certification Receipts under License Renewal.
    • Choose the year starting with 2022, then print.
