As an Inactive Member you will have the following benefits:

c. Free Course Audits through State Bar Foundation CLE. (Exclusions: Teleseminars and other third-party content. Please check each course registration page for eligibility information.)

d. Retain your Membership with the State Bar and avoid retaking the Bar Exam to reactivate.

e. Free inactive status membership after the age of 70

***NOTE:  If an attorney requests inactive status after the licensing renewal deadline, and the attorney did not renew his/her license prior to the deadline, the attorney may still request inactive status in lieu of compliance; however, the attorney must pay the $275.00 non-compliance late fee. See Rule 24-102 (C) NMRA and Rule 24-102 (E)(1) NMRA regarding compliance***
