Business Law

The general purpose of the Section shall be the promotion of the objectives of the State Bar of New Mexico within the particular fields designated by the name of this Section. To that end, it shall be the purposes of this Section:

A. To aid lawyers in the practice of corporate, business, and banking law through research, educational programs, and publications in related areas; and

B. To represent the view of the lawyers of the Section to the legislature, the Bar, and the Public.

1. Still need to pay your licensing fees? Simply check the Business Law Section when completing your Licensing and Renewal forms. Join as many sections as you’d like while you are there!
2. Already paid your dues for the year? Login to your Member Dashboard (see top of screen). Navigate to ‘My Groups’ and click ‘Join Section/Voluntary Bars’. Select Business Law Section, pay the dues, and join. You can join any section or voluntary bar at any time.
