Senior Lawyers

The purposes of the Senior Lawyers Division are to uphold the honor of the profession of law and apply the knowledge and experience of the seniors to the promotion of the public good. The Division shall also promote the special interests of the senior lawyer, to plan and carry out programs, publications and activities of interest to the senior lawyer, and to protect the lawful rights of the senior citizens of the state.

The membership of this Division consists of all members of the State Bar who are 55 years of age or older and/or who have practiced law for 25 years or more and gives written notice to the Executive Director of the State Bar of New Mexico of the member's election.
