Richard was named executive director of the State Bar of New Mexico and the New Mexico State Bar Foundation in December 2017. He has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the State Bar and the State Bar Foundation with a combined budget of $4.5 million. Richard is a licensed attorney and has held multiple leadership roles during his 20-year career with the State Bar. Richard attended the University of New Mexico (B.A., 1989) and Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School (J.D., 1997).
Kris is responsible for the administration of the Board of Bar Commissioners, including coordinating meetings, elections, judicial nominating commissions and appointments to the Supreme Court Boards, Committees and Commissions. She works with the internal committees of the board and maintains the State Bar Bylaws and Policies. Kris coordinates the annual service awards and is the project manager for the State Bar Annual Meeting.
Bill is a general manager that oversees multiple functions across the organization including support to State Bar sections, divisions, and committees (member services); State Bar Center facility rentals; front office and guest services; and the Digital Print Center. He also coordinates State Bar events such as the Annual Meeting. Bill previously served as the Director of the Center for Legal Education with the State Bar Foundation.
Pamela Moore is responsible for the State Bar of New Mexico Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program, which provides confidential assistance, prevention initiatives, peer support, interventions/monitoring, resources, and support to judges, lawyers and law students struggling or living with any mental health condition or substance use issue.
David oversees all accounting functions for the State Bar and State Bar Foundation, including financial reporting, cash management and financial compliance issues. He assists with preparation of the annual budget and participates in operational planning to accomplish program goals and objectives. He also manages the State Bar Center.
Stormy oversees a professional office that protects the legal and policy interests of the State Bar. She directs the Bar’s Human Resources and Regulatory Programs departments including: licensing, Minimum Continuing Legal Education, IOLTA, Bridge the Gap Mentorship and Pro Hac Vice. Stormy is a professional legal resource for State Bar leadership, volunteers and staff. She assists with outreach to the judiciary and advises in legislative, executive and judicial processes.
